Searching for short sales and bank foreclosures

By Larry Schottenstein on November 10, 2009

A lot of buyers are looking for great deals with bank foreclosures and short sales.  The problem is how to search for them. Most web sites and searches are designed to capture your information and are lead generators for a real estate agent. Plus most don’t truly allow you to search the entire market. The Columbus Board of Realtors now requires agents to tag properties that are foreclosures, bank owned and short sales (about to be bank owned).  Since Realtors are tagging the properties they can now be searched just like any other property. click on this link to see all 1,300+ homes in the Columbus market that are tagged as bank deals. You can narrow down your search by price, area, school, condo, etc.
