Forecast: Apartment rents headed down, vacancies up

The Columbus-area apartment market is in for a difficult few years, forecasters at the Columbus Apartment Association said Thursday.

Daniel Hogan, director of research at Columbus-based Red Capital Group, and Rob Vogt, a partner at Columbus-based real estate research firm Vogt Williams & Bowen LLC, gave apartment owners a sobering analysis of the months to come during the industry group’s general meeting.
